Planning a handbag that can be used everyday
I want to have a wide range of marine environmental issues, and contribute to the spread of regenerative materials to realize a recycling -oriented society. Based on the thought, I planned and produced a fastener "MEGAN" that is easy to use everyday.

Pursuing functionality
Megan, like FUMIKODA's business bag, is particular about ease of use.
・ If you close the zipper, you will not be able to see the contents, so it is safe.
・ The strap is on the shoulder. Can be used as a shoulder bag.
・ Use six bottom studs so that it can be placed on the floor.
・ Two pockets that can store small items inside are installed inside.

Combining original materials using bamboo
The bag combines a recycled fabric, which is a raw material recovered in Hokkaido, and a FUMIKODA original artificial leather using bamboo that has been cut in bamboo grove in Tokushima Prefecture as a raw material.

Initiatives for marine conservation
We donate a part of "MEGAN" to Allaince for the Blue to use it for marine conservation efforts.
ALLAINCE FOR THE BLUE is an industry crossing platform that aims to achieve both the Japanese Foundation's support and economy with the aim of "inheriting the rich sea to the next generation". We are working on a “seaweed regeneration project” that is important for solving marine plastic garbage problems through manufacturing and preserving sea ecosystem.
