In collaboration with JEPLAN, FUMIKODA has introduced “CHRIS,” a recycled T-shirt created from discarded clothing. Instead of extracting and burning finite resources, CHRIS aims to protect the planet by continuously reusing existing materials, fostering a richer, more peaceful society. With this T-shirt, we’ve brought our vision of sustainable recycling to life.

CHRIS uses recycled polyester from collected clothing, recreating the texture of cotton fibers for a gentle, soft touch that feels surprisingly similar to cotton, despite being polyester.

Concerns about microplastic pollution from clothing are growing. The fabric used in CHRIS is specifically crafted to minimize microfiber shedding, reducing environmental impact as much as possible.

CHRIS features a classic crew neck and a slightly longer back, offering a comfortable fit for a variety of body types. Available in sizes XS through L, it’s designed for everyone, regardless of body type or gender.

Made from recycled polyester sourced from discarded clothing, CHRIS can be returned to polyester when it’s no longer worn, ready to be transformed into new clothing. To support the endless reuse of clothing, FUMIKODA has set up a collection box for used clothing at our stores.
