Environmental Impacts of the cutting-edge material “FUMIKODATA”
FUMIKODA bags are made from a cutting-edge Japanese material, FUMIKODATA, designed to not have a negative impact on the environment.
This lightweight and durable material is entirely free of environmentally unfriendly substances, cancer-causing agents, or hormone-disrupting chemicals.
Only materials that meet the European RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) regulations, a protocol also being promoted by the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry, are used.
RoHS places limits on the amount of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, and PBB (polybrominated biphenyl) used in products.
This product is entirely free of azo compounds (substances creating specifically reported amino acids) indicated as a harmful substance by the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare, as well as formaldehydes, known for their effect on people and the environment.
These bags offer a durability and resilience that allows them to be enjoyed for years to come. Even when the bags are eventually discarded and burned in refuse facilities, they are designed to not emit harmful chemicals.
